Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to share with you Recipes, Fitness tips and Workouts. I started my Journey at the age of 6 running track and swimming. I have had my ups and downs in my fitness journey. I ran Track in college, but somehow managed to gain the freshman 15. My sophmore year I struggled with weight issues while still trying to compete at a college level. The summer after my sophmore year I decided to make a change. I started eating better and running 5k races. I came back as a junior in the best shape ever. After I graduated I gained 20lbs and struggled to get it off. As a fitness instructor I thought I could out train a bad diet. But 3 years later and after having my son I still wasnt able to lose the weight. I tried every diet and did tons of cardio to try and get my athlete body back. In the fall of 2011 I discovered Jamie Eason’s Livefit Trainer. In 3 months I lost 15lbs and 7% bodyfat. I was modivated and wanted to see more results. I signed up for a bikini fitness competition and trained for another 3 months. The program focused on building muscle while eating clean foods. In 6 months I had lost 20lbs and stepped on stage with 11% bodyfat. I took home a second place trophy, but more importantly the knowleged and determination to be an athlete again.

You are such an inspiration, so thank you so much for sharing all your recipes and experiences. It has really helped! I have one question when you did another round of the livefit did you follow the workout schedule exactly?
For my second round I added HIIT 2x per week and followed the workouts.
My favorite workout is shoulders. I love to do all sort of shoulder exercises and love seeing the results even more 🙂
You before and after pictures are great, and you are so relatable! I just started LiveFit this past week and I feel like I am going to get tired of egg whites fast…did you modify the food choices at all or did you stay on plan for the first round?
Hey Tara! I usually add spinach and veggies with a little seasoning to my egg whites. You can also try greek yogurt or cottage cheese for protein. Sometimes when I am in a hurry I make a protein shake. Hope this helps:)
Thanks for the info, definitely helpful!
