This past weekend I attended Fitbloggin’14 in Savannah, GA. If you are not familiar with Fitloggin It is a conference held annually for bloggers interested in fitness, wellness, good food and a healthy lifestyle. The weekend consist of workshops, workouts, food and friends. This was my second Fitbloggin and I absolutely love it.
I arrived in Savannah on day two of the conference, which also fell on my wedding anniversary, so my husband accompanied me. Once I arrived I met up with two of my favorite blogger friends Nellie and Kimberly. After breakfast the conference began with a full day of workouts and sessions.
This year I was honored to lead the discussion on “ How to Organize Community Wellness Programs”. Details of my discussion can be found here. Big thanks to Erin from Girl Gone Veggie for live blogging. Another great highlight from today was lunch with runDisney. I mean who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse.
After the conference it was time to celebrate five years of marriage with my husband. Our first stop was Jen’s and Friends for a drink- I had the Rice Krispies Treats martini( check out the picture on instagram!). We then headed to The Olde Pink House for dinner and Leopold’s for dessert.
Have you ever been to Savannah? Stay tuned for part two of my recap and a giveaway.
Happy Anniversary! I could not attend this year but I definitely want to go next year. I just adore Nellie and Kim! Saw great tweets about your session, will have to check out the liveblog post.
Hey Patty. Hopefully you can attend next year. I think Denver will be awesome.
I didn’t get a chance to go to Old Pink House! Maybe next time. I’ll be replying to your email in a bit… wanted to get a few options for you.
There is so much to do in Savannah, hard to do everything in one trip.
I never made it to Jen’s and Friends but it was recommended. Leopolds was amazing.
Yes Leopolds was awesome. I had the peanut butter ice cream!
You did a great job leading your session! I’m blogging about it right now, actually. 🙂 So nice meeting you. Hope to see you in Denver!
