Last week my family and I went to Disney World for the first time. My son is 3 1/2 and especially loves Jake and Mickey Mouse. We didn’t tell him we were going until we literally walked into the park. He was a bit confused though, because Mickey Mouse lives in a clubhouse not a castle. Oops!

We spent 7 days there and stayed off property.  We had a 4 day park hopper and did half a day at Magic Kingdom and Epcot at night. Then did Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and the other half of Magic Kingdom. Doing two parks then having a day off really worked for us. We usually left the park around 2pm and Jeremiah was knocked out by then so it was perfect. Besides the rides and character meeting we also enjoyed some Disney treats. We  practiced balance while there, but defiantly indulged!

To save money we packed healthy lunches and snacks. We did have a treat at each park. The Dole Whip at Magic Kingdom is a must!  Epcot was my favorite park for food. Here is why….

Croissant Donuts…heaven on earth! These were dangerously good. Warm, flaky and sweet yumminess. It’s an Epcot must have.

Dinning at Disney can be expensive so we only ate there twice. These tacos and salad are from La Hacienda and were a nice treat for Cinco De Mayo.

Of course a visit to Disney is not complete without some mickey mouse shaped treats.

I split this mickey mouse pretezel with my husband. It was soft and yummy afternoon snack.

This chocloate chip muffin and espresso gave us a pick me up at the Disney Boardwalk.

Disney World was an amazing vacation and I can’t wait go back. I mean take Jeremiah back:)
