I was recently sent a few products from Zim’s to try out and review. Zim’s is a natural based company with products that range from skin care to pain relief. I recieved two products from their pain relief line, Zim’s Heat and Zim’s Max Freeze. Both products are similar and are used to relieve temporary pain relief from sore muscles and muscle trains.
Although I have used products similar to Zim’s in the past I was excited to try this all natural product that features organic llex, Arnica and Aloe. Since I am often sore from my workouts I was anxious to see if it relieved any pain from sore muscles.
Zim’s Maxiumum Heat- Comes out non greasy, but does smell a little like methanol. Not too strong though, the smell went away right after I showered. It a heat based pain relief product brings a warm feeling to the applied area and helps warm the muscles as you massage it in.
Zim’s Max-Freeze- This one came in a gel form and roll-on. It’s similar to the Zim’s Maxiumum heat, but has a cooling effect.
Overall both products are a great option to use on sore muscles. There purpose is to help dull the pain. It wont necessarily take the pain away, but it will help alleviate the pain with the combination of stretching and massage.
