I think one of the hardest parts of losing weight or reaching a goal is Patience. We believe if we change something results should follow right away. When I first started eating clean I didn’t understand why the weight wasn’t just falling off. I was eating healthy and working out, but It seemed like it was taking forever to see results. It was frustrating to not see the results I wanted. Often times I wanted to give up. I was very discouraged and felt I was working for something I would never achieve. I wasn’t being patient! I didn’t put on the weight overnight, but I was expecting fast results.
I realized I could either give up or keep fighting to reach my goals. I wasn’t doing a quick fix diet, but instead changing my lifestyle and embarking on a new journey.
I encourage you to be Patient and enjoy your Journey. You may have ups and downs, but if you work hard you will see results. Learn, grow and create your own journey to be the best YOU!
5 Tips to help you on your Journey: 1. Stay off the scale. 2. Measure process by taking measurements. 3. Set short-term and long-term goals. 4. Find an accountability partner to help you stay motivated. 5. Create your own journey and never compare yourself to others.
