Now that Thanksgiving is over how did you make out? Did you eat clean, indulge or have a healthy balance of both? I had a healthy balance of both. I started the day off making my family Clean French Toast, Turkey Bacon and Scrambled Eggs. Perfect breakfast for Thanksgiving morning.
Clean French Toast Ingredients 8 slices of Ezekiel Bread 4 eggs 1/2C almond milk 1tsp cinnamon 1/2tsp all spice 1/2tsp pumpkin spice 1Tbsp coconut oil 1.Combine eggs, almond milk, cinnamon, all spice and pumpkin spice in a bowel and whisk together. 2.Add bread to mixture and cover both sides. 3.Heat skillet and add 1 Tbsp coconut oil. 4.Add bread to skillet and cook both sides.
This breakfast kept me full until around 2 p.m. That’s when the treats started. Sweet potato Pie sounded like a good snack and since it was my first time making it, I couldn’t resist taste testing. It’s a vegetable right? Well maybe just on Thanksgiving:)
Now comes the big meal. Since my husband had to work we traveled to his job for dinner, but I also made dinner for home: Turkey, grean beans, sweet potato soufflé and stuffing, made up my menu.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to burn some calories. Here is a great HIIT Circuit to do from home or at the gym.
Did you go out for Black Friday?
