I was hoping to give you some updates and a new recipe earlier in the week, but it has been kinda hectic for me. I had to get up twice this week to teach a 5:30 a.m Bootcamp class, yes crazy early. Since I am not a morning person it was tough on me. Once I get up I am fine, but it’s the getting up part that is hard. The best part of working out that early is the fact that you are done for the day and you have a feeling of accomplishment.
If you missed my post on Facebook, check out Stockpiling Moms, I was their guest blogger this week and wrote on the topic of What is Clean Eating? The Basics.
I am going to be very busy this weekend with my family and friends celebrating Jeremiah’s 2nd Birthday. I can’t believe he is 2 already, it has gone by so fast. I will blog about this next week and show you how big I was when I was pregnant. All I have to say is 9lb Baby!
Before I go I wanted to share with you a very easy, simple and fast breakfast I did on one of my 5:30 a.m mornings. Considering I would be getting up so early,I knew I wouldn’t have time to make breakfast. I have made this before and really love it.
1/4 cup steel cut oats
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
1/2 raspberries
1/4 almond milk
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp honey
Mix all ingredients in a mason jar or container. Set in refrigerator overnight. Ready to eat in the morning.
* May use any fruit of your choice*
Have a great weekend everyone!
