KIND Healthy Snacks recently sent me some healthy snacks to try. I received  these 4 KIND bars:

  • Cashew & Ginger Spice
  • Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan
  • Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt
  • Madagascar Vanilla Almond

Each bar was packed with flavor that matched its descriptive name. I loved the texture of the nuts and the flavor of the spices. These 4 bars are also from their newest line of bars called Nuts & Spices. Each bar contains all natural protein, fiber and 5g or less of sugar.

My favorite of the bars was Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan. You really can’t go wrong with anything chocolate and when you add pecans it’s even better. The cinnamon added a nice hint of spice to the bar as well.

Cashew & Ginger Spice was my next go to bar, simply because I love ginger. The ginger wasn’t too strong, but I would have liked to taste the cashew a little more.

Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt also did not disappoint, it was similar in taste to the first bar, but without hints of cinnamon. This bar had more of a sweet and salty taste, which is great for curbing my sweet and salty cravings (recovering kettle corn addict haha<—– no really 🙂 ).

The last bar I tried was Madagascar Vanilla Almond. This was probably my second favorite, because the flavor was really different. I could definitely taste the vanilla and almond,but it didn’t have just one distinct taste. This one was packed with lots of flavor.

Each bar has its own flavor but the texture remains the same, crunchy yet chewy. Besides the crunch from the nuts, these bars are not hard at all or hard to chew. I think these bars are a great option when you are in a pinch, they are 200 cals and satisfying. I will be throwing one of these bars in my purse for emergency hunger attacks:) What I liked most about this bar was the fact that it didn’t have a long list of ingredients and I knew exactly what was in it.
