For me it’s important to eat clean and enjoy life. Sometimes I enjoy life with wine, dark chocolate, frozen yogurt or kettle corn.Being healthy is all about balance. Last night my husband and I had a date night to celebrate his 29th Birthday. We don’t get these dates very often, so I decided to have fun and enjoy some treats. I have a photo shoot on Thursday and wanted to try and not have any cake. Well I succeeded! But I did have 2 classes of wine and a Reduced Guilt Brownie…..and I didn’t feel guilty! I was going to make my husband a yummy clean chocolate cake, but Jeremiah had an allergic reaction to cashews and the day didn’t go as planned.
We arrived at Dinner a little early, but they weren’t open yet so we stopped at local bar downtown Charleston to enjoy a drink.
After our drink it was time to head to dinner. It’s resturant week here in Charleston so I made reservations at a very popular upscale resturant called Halls Chophouse. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I chose the salmon and my husband had the steak.
Before we ended the night we grabbed one more drink. The night was a success and my husband had a great Birthday.
Since Sunday is food prep day for me I will be making:
- Grilled chicken
- Turkey Burgers
- Hard Boiled Eggs
- Green Beans
- Sweet Potatoes
- Brown Rice
Have a Great Week Everyone!
So you cook all of these including the rice in food prep day and reheat later using microwave? 😀 . How many food prep days do you have per week?
Hey Dennis! Yes I cook then reheat. Ill prep again on wednesday.
