Bear Naked sent me a box of their New Bear Naked Fit Almond Crisp Cereal. I received the cereal on wednesday, but I decided to save it for a special day…. Leg Day! So today I started my morning off by teaching a water class followed by a leg workout. I knew I needed adequate energy for this workout,but didn’t have time to make my usual egg whites and oatmeal. This cereal was the perfect match for my 2 hour workout, with 42g of carbs and 7g of protein, it gave me the energy I needed. The sugar is a little higher than I normally have for a cereal with 9g, but for a complete breakfast it was’t bad.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You really can’t beat a cereal that has pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, coconut, and chia seeds. The serving size is for 1 cup with 230 cals, but if you wanted to cut the serving size in half you could always add it to greek yogurt or oatmeal. The texture is great and I love that it is so crunchy. This cereal is great for a cardio and lifting day or intense workouts like cycling or HIIT.
